Dalam kawasan stesen ini jugalah terdapatnya Kluang Rail Coffee yang popular tu. Dikabarkan sejak peristiwa 'Kes Halal' yang lepas, pengunjung Muslim semakin berkurangan di cafe ini. Mereka telah pun mendapatkan khidmat nasihat bersama Jakim tentang status Halal, terpaksa 'menyamak' seluruh kedai dan peralatan yang digunakan dengan pemantauan Jakim. Akhirnya Kluang Rail Coffee ini dibuka semula dan mendapat kembali sijil Halal.
